It’s strange to think that the entire world can be frozen in time, at a complete stand still, yet this is exactly what happened when quarantines first began.
Despite the prevalence of these dark and anxious sentiments, there is something beautiful about this time. Memento Mori as a phrase is latin for “remember death.”
The act of thinking about death and considering its inevitability has been a motivating tool to live a more purposeful and fulfilling life for centuries. Regardless of the circumstances, there are ways in which every individual can make the most of their situation because not every day is promised.
